In this chapter, after a quick morning bathroom romp with Conner, Jessica spends the first half of her day investigating the recent activities of the Vigilante and having lunch with Eve and Rosa, the latter of whom, as it turns out, had actually had an amorous liaison with Mr. Parker many years ago.
